I am a fan of Bob Murch, but sometimes his poses are a bit rigid and unnatural, and his female figures often put me in mind of the Ed Wood picture Glen or Glenda?

What a great set of minis and lovely paint jobs too! Looks like you'll have some great games with that little lot! 0 8)

I'm looking for villagers and militiamen myself for the Linden Way militia of of Orc's Drift - where did they come from? The spearmen with the pack train and the fellow with the warhammer would be ideal!

Sorry, I can't really tell you. I bought them in from some kind of scrap box and don't have any hint, which company they are.  :(

I remeber them to be from Foundry, 100YW or WotR

Thanks former user!

The village blacksmith. He looks rather grumpy but that's what you get for standing close to the furnace all day. Which, by the way, is made by Pardulon.

Been taking a closer look at your forge - nice work on the glowing coals!

There isn't an anvil but Ainsty do a nice forge that comes with a big set of bellows - http://www.oldcrowmodels.co.uk/aiddebris.htm

The kids, at least, look like Mirliton.  See their diorama kits (specifically the Medieval village people).  I think the kid eating the carrot is in the Medieval kitchen set.  So is the woman plucking the goose.

Just looked; he is.  So is the sitting boy.

There.  Lots of lovely civilians, and some of them actually standing up.

I have (I'm ashamed to admit) all of those sets.  I've even painted some of them; need to do the others one day. But then I look at others' nice work and think, "why bother?  I suck."  ;)

Foundry and others have a reasonable anvil, I have several that were part of purchases from DaveT.
Cheers,

There superb, could I get hold of a copy of your rules? Apologies if this has already been answered.

Very nice, and thanks again for sharing!

Who makes the models of the two kids - the one sitting and the other one lying down eating something?  I don't remember seeing them before.

Ignore my question about who made the kids - it had already been answered (by my own wife, no less, and we have them... doubly embarrassing).  I posted without realizing there was a page two to this thread.  That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Steve

I haven't finished them yet, too much hassle with the work. I'll try to do some serious playtesting this summer and maybe I will at one point publish them somehow.

No Problem, happens to me all the time.  ;)
