The Frotherly Christmas Truce

Running alongside the superb Frotherheim Game (table GD03) at Salute this year will be a smaller game re-enacting the games of Football that took place in No Man’s Land at Christmas, 1914. In particular, the one that occurred between Kapitan Kurt Kuntz of the Imperial German Army and Capt. Ernest Chinnley-Steders of the British Expeditionary Force and Refereed by Colonel Marbles (Tring).

Played using 28mm figures on special bases and adapted Subutteo rules, The Frotherly Christmas Truce is a participation game being run on table GD05 – all welcome!

On me head, Son!

You'll need strong fingers to flick those!

I was too busy/hungover to take any pictures but there were loads taken (including some leg-wettingly funny video that'll be up on youtube soon.

Here's one I've shamelessly nicked from another forum. The 2 re-enactors we're hysterical....

Witnessed the re-enactors, was bloody funny, but we cringed when they sent a mini off the table.  :o Closely followed by the posh chocolates.  :'(
Waiter, my soup is giggling.
