Pig Iron Ferals / Rebels medley...
« on: April 20, 2010, 08:10:12 PM »
A pack of Pig Iron ferals and a pack of rebels, although I've mixed around some of the many separate head variants that come with the figures.

Very nice to paint  :)

And slightly closer up...

I'm trying to get my head round how they can all be painted in dull colours yet still be luminously bright.  Beautiful.

Absolutely stunning. :-* Love the combination of bright and dull colours, gives them their distinctive "Captain Blood look".
Also a big thank you for the views from different angles. Finally convinced me to purchase some for myself.

What will you use them for?

Those are stunning.  The colors really pop, but they still look raggedy and cruddy.  I can't imagine a better paint job. :o

Thanks chaps  :)

Mad Doc - I'll use them alongside my Copplestone Future Wars figures for skirmishes. Stylistically a bit different, but match up well size-wise, and should fit in quite well with the Copplestone sewer scavengers etc.

I'm getting bored with typing this, but they are absolutely superb  ::)   lol

They would fit in nicely with the "Firefly" style universe, I think. I had the chance to pick some up at Triples, but ran out of money too soon >:(

Definitely on my "Future Wars" wish list. It's now so long I have had to break it down into more manageable wish lists - much like with my lead mountains  lol

I bought the same two packs and mixed them up and I agree - very nice to paint.
But I just couldn't get them right.
Yours are absolutely fantastic!
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

I could probably open a small shop and retire on the profits from selling it :(
