Could I suggest a single mini LPL5? What I mean is that instead of a team, one would enter a single figure each round, tho' using the same LPL parameters. However the biggest problem of this idea is that it may attract more entrys and cause a logistical nightmare.Just a thought.I'm happy to do another LPL whatever the rules.

Not a bad idea. I think, however, that it is a little contrary to the idea of LPL, which is gaming oriented as opposed to Golden Demon or CMON which top entries need to be handled with white cotton gloves.

Heaven forbid :o. Then how about instead of 10 weeks,10 months? Easy on everyone :) ;) There are all sorts of different ways,bi-monthly et cetera..........Anyway I could never paint to Golden Demon or CMON standard,so for me it's a moot point :D

Congratulations to our winners and to everyone else who reduced the lead mountains a little.  :)

I hope everyone gets a chance to push all those great teams around in a game soon.

Greywolf, the original idea of the LPL was to spur us all on into reducing our lead piles. It's supposed to be an exercise in painting as much as possible in a short space of time, to the best standard you can given those conditions. It's gruelling, but then again it's meant to be. Your ideas are good, but they wouldn't be the LPL. Maybe we should have some other contests, along the lines you suggest, in between LPL seasons.  :)

Congratulations to the Captain, indeed. Well-deserved and a great effort. The colour control alone was worth the effort.

Congratulations to Greywolf also for his honourable mention. I knew his trepidation as he went into the contest. It was a mark of his respect for the standard of the competition. It was nice to see Lola rating a guest appearance.

And congratulations to everyone else from the esteemed Prof, the phlegmatic Hammers and everyone else involved.

As a very casual painter and with very minimal available time, I really enjoy looking at the entries. They always inspire me. Claret and age may have dimmed my capacities but I know a great paint job when I see it.

Roll on to LPL 5!

Yes Plynkes I know,it was a reply to assuage Hammers,as I said I'm more than happy to stick to the current LPL.

Just back to the forum to see the last round ...

Congartulation to the winner !!!! great ! great ! great ! LPL is still a big source of inspiration.
And many thanks to the Prof for organizing.

I'm very disappointed having to give up the league, but it was asbolutly impossible to paint 5 minis a week  :(
Thanks to Knoxville for remplacing, and I apologize for the tow defeats I give you in previous rounds  :P

I'll be present (I hope) at saison five with my delirious layout.

Were are my manners, I completely forgot to congratulate the winners. I guess I can explain it to not being at all surprised. Congratulations all, very well deserved. And I am not bitter. No, really.

This was fun.  I still don't quite speak the same language as the rest of the forum in terms of what will get votes, but I'm getting better.

If I might suggest, however, a return to the more even matchups we had in LPL3 - this season the waiting seemed more about whether I was matched up with one of the juggernauts than whether my painting was good enough.

Congrats to the winners !

Can I just check - do you have to paint a new team every week, or can 1 team be put in for the full 10 rounds?

You can. Plynkes won't like it but it is completely legit.
