feral ghoul
« on: May 23, 2010, 09:25:23 PM »
so Sinewgrab made me envious with his super fallout3 topic - I'm not even gonna try to hide that ;)
I am now playing fallout3 again and also wanted to have mini from this worls in my glasscase so I took manting games ghoul (free sample mini), gave it radioactive swamp base and after ~4 hours of painting the mini was finished :)

I like it although I can now see some parts should be redone / corrected; hope you like it too!

This ghoul is great. Paintjob and weathering on the barrel is outstanding.

The Mantic ghouls are already on my wishlist. This ghoul is a great inspiration for how to paint them.

Man, what a great filthy-looking paint job! This chap oozes corruption...

I especially like the sick yellowish hepatitis-like skin-tone and the corroded looks of the barrel. I would never have thought of using a skin tone like this on a ghoul but will most definitely do so in the future.

Thanx for sharing!

thanks again! :D
I think I should retake pics - apparently camera was catching focus on the plinth I used more than on the miniature... too bad - sculpt is really nice :)

and the next ghoul has just been based - well it's legs only so far ^^

Excellent!  Very creepy looking.

I recently bought a bunch of ghouls from Heresy in idea of making some 'modern' ghouls.....You've captured the look I really like!

Thanks for posting it.

Excellent work. You've got a better hand than I do, but I am so okay with that. Glad to provoke painting!

Bloody lovely. I don't know why I looked at a ghoul in Future Wars but I am certainly glad I did.
