A couple of new projects on the work bench:
Here's some work in progress shots of my new Assault Bike. It follows the same basic design as my IKB Steam Low-Rider but with a side-car and mounted machinegun.

I also picked up the basis for Professor Hinchcliffe's Steam Titan "Project:Tiny Tim".
It will be suitably converted with steam stacks, rivets and gatlings......

You can see by the mini next to its foot it is going to be a monster ( Scale height over 75 feet tall!!!!)

I'll add more pics as I go.

Regards
PM

The robot looks like a Terminator Salvation harvester.

The bike is really great, I can't wait to see it painted.

Looking forward to seeing it painted.
Is there a "how to" about somewhere?

The Robot will be brilliant for VSF

Okay, ready to be pilloried for such heresy, but I'll have to say I think the bike is a wee too pretty for my tastes in VSF. I love it, but see it more on a post-apocalyptic table. That said, I would not call foul if it showed on a steam-driven battle, making it brilliant for  multi-use. ;->=

The 'harvester' is quite awesome, though bound to be a challenge to alter; you'll have my rapt attention should you decide to do anything to it. Mind you, would play quite fine the way it is...

Haven't seen the movie, and only faintly do I recall large things in the trailers, but never got a GOOD look. Glad I have.  :-*

However, I haven't quite gotten over the pseudo-Decepticon chest piece.

well, anyone with his own taste, but You are argueing about the Tag

what is the difference whether you call it VSF, Steampunk, post-apocalyptic etc?
It is a beautiful miniature or not?

and besides, how can VSF be too pretty?

I suppose, in this case, 'pretty' indicated smooth and sleek. And, of course, darn few rivets.

Painting may alter my feelings entirely, as well.

That said, I stated my expectation of an appropriate thrashing. Please, sir, may I have another.
