I've added two pictures to my French Indian Wars gallery featuring the canoes and crew for Robinson's Rangers.

Great canoes! I like that they don't have seats. Sometimes people put them in, when canoe seats are a relatively modern invention!

Very nice.

Canoe seats are a pain anyway, messes with your balance being up high, it's just easier to kneel.  We built some canoes once, put seats in and everyone just ignored them.

I actually like canoe seats. When I learned to canoe I was too short to paddle effectively kneeling down. Now it's just easier on the knees.

I doubt my knees would like it too much these days.  :)

When I started canoing I was 6'2" so I had the opposite problem.

I've been more and more tempted to expand our North America games beyond cowboys.  Were these canoes scratch built, or are they also from Redoubt?

revford, the canoes are also from Redoubt, they are part of a set as shown in last two pics on my gallery, viz two canoes and four paddling/launching figures. There are also two kneeling lookout type figures.
