Final WOTR retinue for now.
« on: June 09, 2010, 11:28:35 AM »
Well hesitant to post these after seeing the recent stuff! Yorks retinue in blue/white with the 'Greate Gonne' and an Artillery guard made from spare figures painted as Abergavennys men in green/white.

Nice work! I'd be happy to have them on my table any day!

Here are my latest WotR figures: http://rabbitsinmybasement.blogspot.com/2010/02/something-for-myself.html

Hear hear!
Tim, they look great. Keep 'em coming.
Perhaps between us we can manage a big enough LAF collection to rival the Perrys own Tewkesbury table! Get painting boys  ;)

Dont worry Nick, Mexican order on its way very soon, just had wee backlog to clear. I like clear decks when i start each new batch.

There will be more WOTR chaps, just taking a break after the first three retinues then onto Audleys methinks as the first new one as i'm planning three for the other side. When they are done i should be able to field about 250 differing troops for the LAF WOTR surge. Waiting on the new metals too, wonder if we will get any Yorkist personalities on foot like Warwick and his Brother John Neville?

They are great fun to build Calimero, its like being a kid again building Airfix kits plus they are really nice figures into the bargain.

That's exactly how I feel about them Tim. Reminds me of the fun I used to have with Airfix's 'Multipose' figures. Pure pleasure.  :)

They look good can't wait to see more. Where did you get the banner by the way?
