Strange Aeons
« on: June 11, 2010, 10:46:45 AM »
I always assumed that this was a future sci-fi game.  Now I realise that I could use my VBCW/WWWII figures here.  Is this a good game?

One of the be(a)st  ;)

Simple, yet effective mechanics, and a good Mythos horror feel.

Buy it, you won't regret it if you like C'thulhu  :)

I have just put a order in to Musketeers Miniatures for some of there IRA miniatures to make up a British threshold group of agents, so no reason not to use your VBCW miniatures.

Well, I couldn't say - I most often buy 'alternative' stuff from the source.... Just my way of supporting, cutting the intermediary link's profit.... In a broader perspective, on the other hand, to make all those goodies more broadly known, it is good to let retailers feel the demand, too....  ???  o_o My brain hurts.....

If you can't buy from Cavalier Books then this site in Germany sells it, just make sure it's in before you order, I have bought miniatures from them and was happy, as you paying in Europe Vat is added there plus no customs’ ex duty to pay

From Uncle Mike site you run the risk of Vat Custom’s duty  and a post office  collecting fee, but I did receive my rule book  in around 7 to 9 days, and never paid any duty, did that  twice from there.

I was looking at these the other day for that very reason, and they do a pack of figures with shotguns, which will be useful  :D

I made some inquires as I wanted to buy the odd individual, plus some packets and was told that is possible but the cost of the individual would cost slightly more to cast but not by much, so I have put a order in.

So you can order a individual figures from? That is awesome, as there is the odd figure or two I would like, but don't have the need for all the figures in the pack - do you pay for the whole pack, or only a percentage of the pack?
