town with no name as of yet
« on: June 14, 2010, 04:30:53 PM »
The plan is to make a rundown sandside town .
A healthy mix of ruins wrecks and re-builds .
There is a bit of a theme to the previous occupants .
hope to include
Bradleys baskets and crafts
Christines Gaz-N-Go filling station
Sawyers woodyard
A cut Above (barber) prop. S. TODD
Mom Lovette's Diner
Vorhees sporting goods
Kreugers Gardening supplies
Lectors general store and eatery
Myers day nursery for trouble children
and of course The Bates Motel
First up the diner .

That's a nice piece of terrain. I'm looking forward to see the rest of the buildings.

Very nice. :) I particularly like the way you have colour coordinated it with your mobile phone ;)

I like, is this supposed to be a new post apoc setting? Or is it representing the average town in Nevada?

I’m looking at the pictures of your work with my windows open and all I can hear is the wind and some crows arguing… that give a very atmospheric setting to your abandoned little Café lol

Nice work 8)

I hadn't noticed about the phone lol .
Gonna use the Warlands rules which have a setting of thier own but really wanted average town Nevada
which is unfortunately solely populated by Serial Killers .
I would welcome other suggestions for buildings and thier owners .
Wife pointed out that Lectors should be a Wine Bar .
final terrain will be used for all sorts of modern/near future gaming .

Looks great!

How about Blind Wally's Used Bookstore?  (Wally prefers small caliber firearms since a miss is less likely to do serious harm to the merchandise).

Oriental Café Dave's
(With "Café" crossed out and "Dave's " added in a different paint)

This looks great. The glass windows with food items painted on them really sells it. And the roof has great cover. Very cool work.
