Looking good so far, sir.
Very good.
 8) 8)

A bit too damn good as it is giving me the 'itch' to do something for my own town.....which I really should not be doing yet.
Well, I have some Apache masters to slap paint on soon, in metal too ( ;)), so that will have to suffice.
For now.....

The civilians are Old Glory, I think.
They have very few poses, though, which meant I had to amke a few small modifications to the women to make them look a little different:hats and dress alterations etc.
I think that I have a few spares hanging around somewhere. If I find them you can have them.

The Apaches I was talking about are my own sculpts that I will be launching soon, so I need to get a few painted, I reckon.
 ;)

These fellas....

...and there are five more, but I only got the masters back from the caster yesterday so Have not shown them yet.
Later today they should appear on my thread.
 :)

Looking forward to seeing them painted!

Ok, next step, roof and column structures.

All I need to do on the building now are the wide open doors, sand the stalls / black smith areas and do the roof tiles / detailing.

Ok, I'm suffering a small waterworks problem! Lol

My last cows have arrived and I have the sitting Marshall along with two thunderboxes on the sprue.....but I've lost the instructions on how to build them!

Does anyone have the instructions to hand please?

So next stages for the Livery.

Give the interior a quick and dirty paint job...it will be dark in there when finished anyway.  Now you can insert your loft level.  Fit our floor boards and prime for painting.

Now build your doors.  I find it easier to do them separately then add them to the building.

There is a lot of roof area on this model so break it up by using different methods.  I have used dimple planking on the two covers.

Now for the laborious task of tiling the main roof areas.  I use simple card folders / wallets.  Cut your tiles to suit.  Mine are obviously over scaled but it suits my town.  Remember though....it took me nearly five hours today to cover this!  If I'd made them smaller.....whoknws how long it would have taken?

Now, as it happens, I actually did a lot to it today specifically because we had a big game tonight.  It isn't finished but it's close so only giving a sneakapoo from the end of a street.....

And I've been looking hard at those new poker tables......just had a brainwave.....ooouch....it's gonna hurt my pocket!

Ok.  Almost totally finished.  I found a blacksmiths forge I like....but it's too big to place under the front cover.  As such I will be building a small side yard for it.

I have ordered a few tools etc to hang up, add the odd poster and I need to fashion a couple of saddles to rest over the stall walls.  I will also be adding a few barrels / boxes into the back of the loft for visual effect.  Apart from that, it's done.

Fantastic work.  That's one of the few buildings I'm still lacking for my town...a proper livery.  Well done!

Lovely detailing on this. Is the pulley a model railway part?

No, its off some toy sprue I found earlier today when I was having a bit of a sort out.  Best of all, there are another six!  Needs a little carving but perfect for this! Lol.
