Cheers guys.  Yup, playability is key with these scratch builds.  Our roofs do not lift off, we have our own interpretation of how a gunfight goes down indoors.  But we play the game very much in the 3D with every balcony, flat and sloping roof, bell tower and water tower, corner, cover or recess put to use.  Indeed many a gunslinger has met his end in VC by taking an unfortunate fall!

This building already has a flat roof and a corner balcony affording lots of height advantage.  By adding the recessed deck, I now have the inside recess, cover from barrels and the cover afforded by the deck itself.  Not too bad.  Lots of fighting about this piece I suspect.

Edit: Vultures will have to wait, I need a rethink!

Cracking stuff, some lovely bits in there, the nun and choir boys. Very imaginative.

The town looks like it's grown organically and is unique, which I think adds a lot to its appeal - to me at least.

I know you have been building it for a few years now but it looks well worth it

Thanks guys, I appreciate the remarks.  I keep thinking I've finished then get the urge to do more.  I have lots of figures to paint, yet more buildings I'd like to add simply because it's such a fun game.  The more I play, the more I want to do!
