Experience with Cannon Fodder Figs?

Some times ago I've read "Freedomfighters, Freikorps and Freaks" in WI (225 & 226) and started looking for figs to do some skirmishing games around 1919-1923.

So I want to ask if someones out there who has experience with Cannon Fodder Kameraden: http://www.canfodmins.com/KAMERADENHOME.htm

They seem to look a bit crude, so I wonder if they will fit with figs from Renegade or Great War Figs - which I would use as Freikorps. Otherwise I was thinking of using Copplestones russian partisan with "minor corrections" and maybe some Volkssturm figs from WestWind or Bolt Action.

well the minis don't look really great esspecially the freicorp. I think it's better to use renagades one : they are really great. You can use the red's for civilians.
I think  you can mix with battle honours ones.
