Excellent, Stephan! Rich colours, clean painting, and great basing - I ordered some of those tufts for my Old West models just a few days ago, thanks to you! Oh, and the Reaper bartender fits in there perfectly. Excellent posse! I feel better about my bases for another reason - I think they're painted in a very similar colour to yours, and seeing yours looking so good convinces me it's the right look!

The red is Vallejo Gory Red (GW Red Gore) plus a bit of a dark brown (i never use black with reds as this would be too dirty), then comes pure gory red and then Vallejo FLat earth followed by Vallejo Scarlet.
