Stuck turrets? (FoW)
« on: July 28, 2010, 04:32:07 AM »
I currently am trying to assemble a small US Airborne force with some Shermans in support.  I was trying to assemble two Shermans that I got in blisters and the turrets appear to be stuck in one position.  From what I understand the turrets need to rotate during the game and mine seem to be either stuck or molded as one piece.  If they are just stuck I'll try harder to force them apart!  Thanks guys.

They don't need to rotate in  order to be playable, it's really a matter of personal preference.

The reason they are sticking is that the factory in Malaysia hot glues them in place. You can usually get them off by twisting or, if they're really stuck, by running them under hot water and/or soaking them for a bit. Helps to soak them in hot water and soap anyway, as the FOW models have been drenched in mold release agent in recent years, which doesn't take too well to paint.
