Hey All.
After a 5 year pause I'm getting back in to table topping and painting.
I'm on a budget.

These are the figures I'll be planing on  painting...
24x EM4 SWAT
24x War Games Factory Zombies
5x Foundry "Professionals"
5x Pulp Figures "Evil Minions"
10x War Gods of Aegypt Ghouls
1x RAFM Chthonian Worm
4X RAFM Mi-Go
1x Mirliton Infernal Creature (~40mm Cthulhu)
3x Reaper Gogglers (Deep Ones /Fish men)
1x Reaper "Dark spawn Cultist and Minion" (Cthulhuoid priest with familiar)
4x EM4 2Servants of the Dark god"
4x EM4 "Dimensional Shamblers"
4x EM4 Byhkee
4x EM4 "Proto Shoggoths"
4x Voodoo Priest and Priestess
1x Reaper "Dr. Voodoo"

So It's going to be a busy winter.

Like I said, I'm on a budget, so what is ya'lls informed opinion of the Least amount of Inks and paints I can get by with. I'd probably have to mix some paints together for different colors anyways.
So what would be the least amount of colors I need to to a decent job of painting these guys without feeling like I have too few colors and at the same time not having to dig too deeply into my wallet?
I'd appreciate any advice.
Sadly my wife threw out all of my old paints and inks because the were stowed under the bed and she thought I didn't need them anymore because at the time I was done with minis!!! AARGHH!!

take care.
Doug

Nice budget :) Interesting question about the minimum colours needed. For a limited palette you'd need black and white, a warm and cool yellow, blue and red, then some earth colours, yellow oche, burnt umber, burnt sienna from that lot you could mix up most colours.

edit: oh and a pinky flesh color would make life alot easier.
