Brilliant!

Will you be adding a door so they can get out on to the balcony above the ramp?  ;)

Glad to hear your up and in a state of mobility. I hope you keep recovering well without any set backs.

What are the shade coverings? Loo paper and ova? They look very fragile.

Cheers
Matt.

Thanks for the replies chaps  :)

Give us a bell this afternoon if you fancy Dean.

The door to the balcony is an awning and isn't quite dry yet  ;D

All the awnings are industrial tissue paper soaked with watered down pva and then inked with brown and given a drybrush.

City Martians have been in the pipeline for a while now and we hopefully have serval avenues to explore  :)

cheers

Thanks chaps  :)

Are your rocks made out of cork bark?

For the most part, yes. I spend a bit of time choosing ones that look and fit right together  :)

Cracking update, James.
Love the building with the mix of smooth, rounded areas and flat angular sections.
It looks great!

You have sold those tents to me all by yourself as well.

I did get some more  ::)

But in other news, I've brought out some half started viaduct and made a small amount of progress (please excuse the dodgy phone photos).

With the airborne threat of the Sky Martians, waystations have started to spring up along the viaduct at regular intervals; not only is there a small telegraph post located in the little brick hut on the top, there are also a couple of quick firers to help ward off any roaming skiffs until a message can be sent back to New Victoria  :)

Still a bit of work to do and I'm toying with the idea of having railings around the edge similar to the tops of the bridge stanchions  ???

A few more sections and this should be about the right length for next years Salute. I'll also be hopefully making a mesa that the rail runs onto that'll include a tunnel entrance... We'll see  :)

Gonna need a whole lotta cork though  :?

cheers

James

Travel to Spain or Portugal. Find a plantation. You can work out the rest.
