Grimms Jungle Trees
« on: July 27, 2007, 09:56:51 PM »
Okay,

I went searching thru the older posts to try to see if the elusive Grimm had posted up how he constructed his Jungle Trees & I found nothing. So if anyone (Grimm??? ) would like to tell me how he did them that would be great. I need to build a few for LotHS demo game I will be doing in April at Adepticon in Chicago.

From the looks of them he is using some sort of Root for the actual tree. So if the elusive Botanist could chime in that would help...

Good Mornig guys ,

you whant to know how I build the Jungle Trees ?
What exactly do you mean how I make the foliage ,how I make the liana ,what I use for the Tree or did you whant a high detail Report abaut evereything ?

he most people ask me what materials I use and that is simple I use a mix of root, branches and Dead Bonsai Trees (if I can get a few),for the ``decoration``I use a good mix of Plastik plants and railroading scenery stuff
(here is a good adress http://www.woodlandscenics.com/index.htm ).

If you whant to know a special thing yust ask or send me a PM .

You also have the alternative to buy/or trade some ready scenery from me so you can take your time to paint more figures
I will post some Pictures later these day .

I hope that there come the chance that Rich from Rattrap release a full Report from me of `` how I make a Jungle table ``.

So enough  for now ,I have to make some road´s for dominic now and I am sure he will kill me if he diden´t get the stuff soon .

Cheers Grimm

That project is on the workbench Grimm. Everyone else will have to wait to find out what it is.

Grimm,

Thats what I was wondering, I could not figure out what you were using for the trunks. I could figure out everything else but the trunks of the trees were bugging me.

Hmm now to find some dead Bonsai...
