How far ahead is the deadline if I live in Sydney, Australia? It's 6:32pm at the time of this post...

I am not going to be a dick about this but lets for the sake of argument say that we're using GMT.

Time for another posting of the always-useful Time & Date Fixed Time page, I see.

23:55 (11:55PM) UTC, Friday 29th of October.

Add five minutes, and there's our deadline.

By which I see I have until 5PM (1700) local to get my entry in. It better not be raining in the morning when I need to take photos...

Made the following adjustment to the rules:

'Grand Final' voting commences 14 8 November with the final result on 21 14 November.

I have no idea why I though there should be a one week gap between rounds.

Fantastic entries folks!  Not a one I don't like.

Voting is going to be difficult to say the least.

Well done, guys.

There's some really fantastic pieces here, well done to everyone who got there's finished, hope those of you who didn't will keep on working on them, I don't think that there has been one entry I  didn't want to see finished. Still it took me a long while to decide on which entries to vote for but I got there in the end. Anyway good luck to everyone who entered.

Really REALLY excellent entries all round chaps. So many brilliant and inventive pieces of modelling. I'm going to have to really think very hard about how to vote, because I like almost every single entry!  :)

What a great comp! It was good to push my self a bit further, but also learning so many new things from watching other people's entries develop as well! Good luck, everybody!

It was good to have a deadline although I did cut things rather fine, only just made it after a long spell painting on Friday night. This is the first thing I have finished in ages, and it has really inspired me to do more modelling. Thanks.
Some really great inspiring entries here, lots of ideas to be stolen :D
Good luck everybody.

I finished my entry nearly two weeks ago, then put the photography off until the last minute... my email hit the web 55 minutes before deadline, having done the photography and photoediting that afternoon.

Good strong competition, too. Lots of very, very cool projects!

Yup, just submitted my votes too, really tough choices as they are all of such excellent quality. Congrats to all the entrants for achieving such a high standard.  :)
