Glass Beads Texture Gel?
« on: August 26, 2010, 09:05:57 AM »
Has anyone tried using this to enhance rushing water effects?

I suspect its what they use in at Aardman Animations to mimic suds.

I'd go with the glass beads. It's a bit fiddly to position them to look right on the water medium, and I imagine it will be even more difficult if they are already mixed into the goo already. Whenever I tried to move the beads around on my coast board, they left a groove in the acrylic which needed to covered up later. Might depend on what you want to achieve, though.
