What supplier do you guys go through to order the Westwind figures?

It doesn't seem that you can directly get the Cowboys War figures from Westwind Productions anymore: http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=23_57

it is my understanding that Old Glory kept the Cowboy Wars range after their "divorce" from WW, so Old Glory or Old Glory UK.

Tell me about the divorce. Andy Cooper is associated with both ranges, but whereas the WW figures always seem to be to quite a high standard (M1935 German helmets excepted, which WW got completely wrong), OG figures are of an extremely, erm.. variable quality...

What's the story?

I don't know too much about it. I do klnow that Chris Hughes of Sash and Saber sculpted most (if not all) of the Cowboy Wars stuff, which is probably why OG got it rather than WW.

I know that OG has used many sculptors over the years including Mssrs Hughes and Cooper along with a host of others, which is why the quality varies so much. I think the WW brand has included the work of others, but has been mainly Cooper. It's hard to tell though since the sculptors are never mentioned!

At least the new Merrimac-Old Glory 25s website has high quality, usually painted photos of the miniatures.  The old Old Glory website had these horrible, skewed out of porportion blown-up images.  I usually just waited until the convention and asked to see each pack at the booth before buying.
