Kobolds...
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:40:04 PM »
Hi there.
More monsters for my dungeon crawl project: a kobold tribe this time (otherworld minis). Tiny little buggers - but a pleasure to paint...

Cheers, Hagen

Those look great. I always thought Kobolds were under-used based on y early playing of RPGs. Seems like they have had a resurgance of late.

They look like a bunch of freaky mutant Scrappy Doos! :) Very nicely painted, especiall on the armoured fella!

Op5: Yeah, not enough kobolds around. I blame GW.

Beautiful work!

How big are they compared to citadel goblins?

The "civilian" types are a nice touch - love the kids sat on the barrel!  8)

Thanks guys!  :)

Left to right: hasslefree, otherworld, citadel and copplestone (if someone wonders about the copplestone guy here: don't have that many fantasy minis - and copplestone is quite a standard imho  ;) ...)

They are so cute- I am tempted to get some, but I know I won't paint them as well as yours. Damn it!  :'(

They're pretty tiny - I'm guessing those aren't flying goggles on your avatar but high prescription glasses?!  ;)

Wonderful wee models. I'm a huge fan of the old school doglike with lizard aspect Kobolds...the ones I've seen in what little modern DnD I've looked at are just small crocodile/lizard men which I think is very boring.

Fantastic!   :-*  I really like those Otherworld Kobolds, and you've done a top notch paint job on them.

Excellent, lovely paint job. I have the set made up ready to paint but doubt I'll come close to how good these are.

Fantastic paint job, it really makes them look so old school!

Love the Otherworld stuff but I can't get into a new (or should that be old?) field at the moment.

Much resist!
