Those egyptian girls are nice. That's the first from Brother Vinni that have tempted me. The pose on the second one is especially good.

Sorry but I just find this really creepy. Great sculpting skills but on what planet does anyone find semi naked female 'prisoners of war' to be within any reasonable bounds of good taste? What's next, naked rape victims at Srebrenica?

Personally I find it appalling and no I'm not a Methodist clergyman or some sort of anti-fun wowser but this is beyond the pale and I'm sorry to say it reflects poorly on this site.

I'm not into this pieces, but I don't see why they shouldn't be here. Great sculpts, questionable taste. I've seen worse here on LAF, and i think that it should be like this!

To be fair, a considerable portion of Vinni's portfolio consists of "premise + tits", it's just much too tongue-in-cheek to take seriously; I wouldn't describe any of it as being in good taste, but miniatures rather rarely are. Certainly, they're much tamer than some much older and poorer-quality figs I've seen packaged as "dungeon prisoners" or whatnot in the past.

They look more like they're on the set of a POW-themed soft-porn flick than anything else, honestly. Would you feel less or more offended by them if there was a pink frilly bed and a fellow in an SS outfit with his pants down in the background?

Relatively poor taste is still poor taste.

These are labelled 'female prisoners of war', not 'soft-core porn actresses'.
Do you think female soldiers just sexually humiliate themselves for the hell of it?

By this way we should cancel all the threads about non-fictional miniatures in action more "immoral" than having a cup of tea.

They are just miniature, and i've seen much worse. I'm not gonna buy them, but not for moral issues. Just taste.
