I just posted some pics of my first unit of Danes.  These are going to be part of my Kievan Rus army and eventually they will serve double duty as Swedes.

I am looking forward to some feedback.  Oh, and sorry about the picture size.

Have you read "The Longships" by Frans G. Bengtsson? I splendid read and a good inspiration if you are into viking exploiration of the east.

Thanks for the comments guys!  The 10-11th century is one of my favorite periods for gaming.  I have Normans and Saxons for this period.  As you can see I am working on Rus and Swedes, and I have an Andalusian army waiting.    Pretty much all of my acients armies will fit in this period.

Hammer, thanks for the book recommendation.  I'll check it out...
