"Homemade" Armoured Cars?

Some time ago somebody had posted a lledo or matchbox vehicle that had been converted into an armoured car. I can't find that thread for the life of me! Instead (or "Even though I am thinking...) of buying an armored car from Copplestone or 1st Corps, I was considering of converting a normal truck into an armoured car. Could somebody point me in the right direction? My searches revealed nada!

Thank you, Count Whisky. Those are quite nice. Still, I was thinking of just converting some of my Matchbox vehicles and was looking for inspiration (and ideas to steal ) for rather crude armoured cars. Of the FoA vehicles only the flat bed Bedford goes along those lines. The rest looks too professional.

The Force of Arms Renault is an excellent little model. I've got one for my Rif War Spanish, and would recommend it, with the caveat that the tracks and trench tail may have some spots where the casting is not that great - the resin is good, though, and I could quickly fix it.

Yeah, I was thinking of going with 1st Corps, but theirs looks kinda chunky and fake. Then again it is not painted so I might be unfair there.

I am not interested only in pictures of miniatures by the way. Should you have pictures of real "homemade"/improvised armoured cars or trucks or be aware of a site that does, let me know.
