Those look like Pig Iron System Trooper bodies with Pig Iron heavy trooper heads. Pig Iron is the best think in a long while for sc fi in 28!

By the way, CV, they do look lovely.  :D

I can't spring for System Troops right now, but I was thinking of using PI heavy trooper heads on some Kryomek Nexus SWAT trooper bodies.

Thank you, but when Inso said "smaller route" I thought they were 15mm.
Those were the figures I was wondering about.

The smaller figures I mentioned are Grymn from Hasslefree Miniatures, with Pig Iron heads and a bit of putty work.

If you didn't know, Grymn are 28mm scaled space-Dwarfs...so smaller than the average humie :) .

Nice use of the PI figures Commander.

Any chance we can see a piccie of these next to your other Halo inspired Humies (Copplestone Jungle troopers with helmet/head swops) from last year?

I bought a few of the Haloclix to try them out.  They were cheap but really out of scale with any other miniature I would use them with.  They are taller than most figures and slender.  If scale bothers you at all you will probably not like them.  I was very disappointed.

The Covenant are a much better option - they're alien and don't have the same "human-size" reference.

That's a shame, was hoping for 15mm due to space and budgetary considerations.
(Also influences things like terrain and vehicles.)

Then check out my 15mm Halo thread you numpty!  :D

Take a look at Critical Mass's Arc Troopers and
khurasanminiatures who are about to release some very spartan looking stuff too.
