ok, so we had the Starship Troopers Bugs, Otherworld have some creepy crawlies, what else is out there...?

anything a touch bigger than a 28mm mini, waspish (know about Heresy) would be good... long abdomen and that...

Check out Grimm's Atomic Cafe stuff over on the pulp board. I think he has some preying mantis and other 1950's B movie giant insects.

Hydra does a big bug, about 54mm tall.  Killer Bee does a Harvest Insect type three leed bug.

I've got a pair of the WSD wasps, and they are big lads. Easily as big as a 28mm figure, and chunky with it.

They are also, of course, shamefully unpainted...  :(

Reaper has some interesting insect minis scattered through the range. Might be  worth a look through the catalogue.

ELC used to do a tub of plastic ones.
Came as a varied mix, so you'd need several tubs to build a unit of any one type.

I bought a bag of toy insects and bugs which will find there way (eventually) to Venus.

I'm away from home for a few days (and this bloody internet cafe isn't very helpful  >:() but if you check the first page of the Venus campaign, I placed a link there to them.   :D
