Star Mogul becomes Salvage Crew
« on: October 16, 2010, 04:26:11 AM »
Exciting news for fans of Star Mogul.

http://www.alphaforgegames.com/homepage.html

Mega Minis have bought it up the line and are will be offering the rules up for free downloads in the coming months.

The game will be under the new name Salvage Crew.

Also, it looks as though they'll be combining their recent Demon Blade acquisitions into the Salvage Crew line.  Very exciting!

That game's been such a heart breaker for me. Not that you couldn't play it with any figures but I so liked the official line.

Interesting - looks like the models will be simply available and cheaper from the off-line store than ebay  :)  I hope some of the greens make it to production:

I'll wait for the rules to go PDF and then have a look unless I can pick up a bound copy cheap...

My feeling is this is going to be a good move for those in Europe - having dealt with MM before the service was great and figure fantastic for the price.

Andrew

Sweet, I am glad to see Jon is expanding is lines. Its great to see a local company (local as in the same State as me) continue to thrive. I just hope he continues to expand his Modern Day lines including the Zombies.

@ AndrewBeasley I hope Jon does release that Green that would make a great Ganger or Survivor for ATZ.

I think Mega Miniatures is one of my favourite companies. Not that I have bought a whole lot from them, but they offer a great range, and it is all very affordable. Best of luck to them!

Another good acquisition after the shockforce line. I like the minis a lot and given MegaMini's excellent postal rates to the UK I'll be happy to buy more of these. Full marks.

The guy with the chainsaw is one of the original Star Mogul releases and has been inproduction a few years. I'm pretty sure it'll be one of the releases from Megaminis.
As for using it for ATZ:

Maybe I was being confusing there...

but all the minis WILL be available, and at a cheaper price to boot.  Sounds like the guy there has some great plans moving forward, and wants to fill out the factions.

I think it's great news for those of us who love this game setting.

I don't think he was confused, just saying getting the figs, til now(?), has been a challenge. Do any of us not know the feeling TOO well about SOMETHING?

I've not seen the piccies before; I, too, wait impatiently! ;->=

Oh, and I also understand now that they will be looking to make the line also in 15mm as well....

I'd love a convoy of Salvage Dogs running down a bevy of DemoBots!

I hope they got the rights to release all the figures - love those alien types they do.
