Bostal Corps: Sci-Fi Dioramas and Accessories
« on: October 16, 2010, 08:21:10 PM »
I've been a BIG fan of Remi's stuff for a while. Just noticed he's just opened a store selling some of his Nostromo and SW inspired walls and accessories, which seem quite reasonably priced.

My French is very poor, but it looks as is his modern street furniture and kits might be coming soon too.

there are lovely  things there, but the prices are really too high to me!

every single section of the wall is 6 euros, for a 30x30 cm room you have to pay 120 euros only for the walls!!

Firstly - thank you posting these links - they are fantastic, a true modelling master.  I've checked though ans think my favourites are the cemetery and the D&D ruins.

Secondly - I'd love to see some work-in-progress shots.

And Thirdly - it makes me want to start collecting Heroclix/Star Wars and Alien miniatures.

A great find.

Some of the stuff is pretty much Movie prop level of detail it seems! For a horclix game? Dear Gods!

Agreed with everyone here - very, very nice!  :-*

Also, really quite expensive to build a room / table with, but I guess there are a lot of parts that took a lot of effort to make and cast... And you get what you pay for in that respect I suppose.
Personally though, that's the main turn-off for me in buying terrain - it's usually way out of my budget, and I often still have to assemble, paint, base it, etc anyway.  :?

Beautiful! And perfect timing too: I was looking for something universe-distinctive to replace the resin hive pillar that came with Kabuki's "Leona Lobo" figure. Was thinking I'd have to scratchbuild something, or else fudge it with some Ainsty lockers, but that hypersleep pod is perfect!
History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.

My goodness.   That is hands down the best set of terrain pieces I have seen.  Thanks for the links guys, or not as my terrain is heading for the rubbish pile now ;)
