The contents do not appear to be listed anywhere, not even on the publishers website. Estimated delivery to me by the end of the week so I will post up a short review.

My copy arrived over the weekend, Ive read the first two chapters so far , so this is first impressions only.
At 236 pages it can only be a primer for a large subject but I have enjoyed what I have read so far. Most of the information has probably been published in Chris Peers articles that appeared in WI.Summary of contents-
Introduction
1- The Impact of Firearms
2-The Zulus and their Northern Cousins. Covers Zulus, Matabele, Ngoni
3-The British and the Ashanti
4-Kabaregas Twenty Seven Year War. Covers the Bunyoro conflicts against Baker, Lugard etc
5-The Azande
6-The rise and fall of the Congo Arabs
7-The Masai and the Nandi
8-The HeHe and the Kaiser
9-British East Africas Northern Frontier. Covers the Turkana , the Somalis, the Karamoja, the Borana , the Suk Samburu and Rendille.
10-Conclusion
