I don't know if you guys have had a chance to play Bioshock yet, but the game is phenomenal. Aside from creepy gameplay, it has some beautiful art to go with it. Take 2 has put up the artbook as a free download. I understand it contains spoilers and creepy pictures, as well as some great ideas there.

You can download it here.

Given the creativity in this group, I expect you'll be able to come up with some neat applications of the stuff here.

Yes, once the wedding is done with that game will be on my must buy list.  It looks so beautiful.  Normally, I hate first-person shooters, but this one is more story oriented and has a respawn system that is very forgiving. Two elements I really appreciate. Also, the new Conan game will be ready by then as well.  I also plan to update my tv as well.

My PC is unfortunately too weak for all this graphic galore.
Anyway I have seen it at a friends place and was blown away! The whole setting has a nice late 50s art deco feel + all the starnge monsters, makes you immidiately to want some of it as minis!
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - http://www.adpublishing.de

I downloaded the demo on Friday and went through a few rooms just looking around and admiring the atmosphere. Since I am not a shooter-player I will have to bribe a friend with a few good beers to see all the scenes, but the setting is too good to be missed.

Now before I start downloading the 1.8 GB demo file, can anyone tell me if there is a chance that my machine can handle it? I have the slight suspicion that my Athlon 2800+ /Geforce 5900 thing is more and more out of date  :(

Edit: just had a look at the art book, this is some seriously sick stuff. Wire... tools... green stuff... I'm off!

You can also get the game for the XBOX 360, if you have one.  Apparently, the computer version is plagued with technical issues that are very, very prevalent.  The 360 is much more stable supposedly.  Read the www.gamespot.com review for further info.

Riddled with bugs, as usual with new PC games  :( But I don't have an Xbox either, so I guess I'm stuck with the artbook. Nice eyecandy as well.

I don't think it'll work.

Just picked up the game. Boy does somone have to do miniatures.  I would kill for a machine gun turret built from a clunky remote sensor, a flashlight, a swivel office chair, a submachine gun, and some tape!

I love this game so much.  I got it the day it came out and I've already played through it about two and a half times.  It is so atmospheric!  Fun, fun, fun.  It can also be really creepy.  There are a few times when you'll be doing something and then turn around to find someone standing RIGHT BEHIND YOU.  *shiver*
