Here's a set of drink shelves I built for my saloon (seen elsewhere in the Old West topic area.)

Bottles are hand-carved from wooden dowel pieces. Mirror was cut from an AOL disc.

The figure is a limited edition I got from hawgleg.com (through their Showdowns and Shootouts contest.) She's called La Vaquera. I don't know who the sculptor is- I wish I knew.... I reckon' I could ask the fellas at hawgleg

Evil, aren't you going to tell us a little bit about how you created that fantastic piece?  :D

  Great scratch build. And yeah the mirror works real good.

The bottles are very very good and well painted, perfect highlight spots.

Not many off them though...bit dry this saloon..! :D

The shelf is built from basswood and matt board. I made it up as I went along; just wanted to get a basic shape with a couple shelves. The (matt board) sidewalls were added last, the slant front being cut with a pair of scissors after the glue dried.

The bottles were carved and glued to the shelves. The whole piece was primed and painted. The mirror was the final piece put into place. More bottles will be added. I wanted to get the shelves done for a game this weekend.

Here's a photo of the shelves constructed but not painted; may give you a better idea of how it went together.

Nice bit of scenery. I love the bottles. Have you any plans to make any more pieces of scenery for your bar?

Hey I have the Gutshot girl for running a convention game a while ago.  Far as I know they said it was the last outside of their personal collections.  I need to get around to painting her.
