Nurglings that actually look.... well,  deamonic?
Even though they are lined up like the three Stooges, Mo, Larry and Curly still manage to have an air of meanace about them....

Oh, and they also look quite... large?
Or has your sculpting now matched your painting and everything you do looks like 54mm????

The mobile altar is a WONDERFULLY bizarre & highly detailed work of art...INCREDIBLY WELL DONE! I LOVE the Nurglings...they're such charming, delightful, ugly Little Rotters; Daddy Mac is oh-so chic.

Thanks mate, think they add comic relief to what is otherwise a really rather dark piece

Brrrrrrrp, brrroop, brrrrrrrrp, brrroop!
thats the sound of an acordion walking around
One fine day in the middle of the night,
two dead men got up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other.

Awesome thread and particularly wonderful representatives of my good friend the lord of flies.  :) Makes me wonder when my own nurgle armies will see the light of day. Got two in the works, both 10mm and 28mm, with a ton of vehicle kits and creatures in both scales intended for cavalcades.  Your palanquin is magnificent and I can't wait to see it painted. Lots of great ideas for bending the plastic kits to your will here and your hand sculpted parts and conversions have those two qualities we love to see--ambitious and successful!

Wow, I just spent quite a pleasurable hour or so going throught this log. Everything is simply wonderful. Is there somewhere to see better pics of the rest of your army, like the ogres?

I love the paint job on the plague bearer! He looks wonderfully ill  :-*

Actually I think they now show quite how much his painting as progessed in twelve months...

Take a look at the Ogres skin... then look at the Plague Barers...
The PB is in my opinion, far far beter as an example of how to paint skin with blends and layers than the Ogres are...

And go back and look at the Nurgle Champion. His skin and body is very Ogre like... and far far better....

Thanks for posting Dee, i would never have thought to compare, but being in the same thread on the same page, i hope you can see what i mean...

Mr Dee,cracking work again! I am thoroughly disgusted lol ,which is a good thing; The altar and the hair method on the ogres, just brilliant.
Looking forward to you doing some nubile Slaaneshi (perhaps one or two proper ladies? :o).
