Cool.  They certainly look larger than that in the pics.  Can you get a decent ammount of figures in there?

Sorry for being tardy but here are pictures of the buildings without interior furniture.
Diner

The garage, the back wall will be extended ca 5-8 cm when finished

The exterior walls need a bit of detailing.

Also WIP pictures of a broken bus

Just about right scale wise I'd say.  Sorry if I missed it earlier in the thread, but how much modding do you need to do to the files to get them to slice after you rip them?

Some of the files have to be put through a repair program like makeprintable or the like. Others print just fine. It is especially the ones with thin surfaces that need to be prepared for printing. Otherwise it is mostly resizing.

The Diner is looking good mate.  8)

Those tokens are such a good idea, really good plot points or searchable item locators.

cheers
Matt

Well I think all walker-bys and dice rolling punters will be happy to play on that mate! 8)

I think I prefer the recast cars of the future to the 3D printed fallout vehicles. The rough surface of the prints puts me off a little TBH. What a wonderful world you are creating though mate. The 3D prints seem to work a little better for the scenery terrain, buildings and signs where the surfaces are easier to sand smooth without loosing details.

Cheers

The bus is rougher than usual I think, there is a lot of underextrusion so I have been trying to tune the printer a bit mor and done some maintenance. Otherwise it depends on what time you want the prints to take (layer height) and the sourcefiles. Thes files were never ment to be printed to start with. But as wrecks it works for me. This one for exampla ha a much smother surface thogh the glas did not print correctly.

Still new at printing stuff though so I am learning how to get the most out of it.

For buildings and larger terrain it is great though.

Ah gotcha, all part of the choices. Nice to know there is some options in there and that you don't need to sand everything back completely smooth. You know more about 3D printing than me, so thanks for sharing a bit of what you know Anpu.

Keep at it mate!
Cheers
Matt

Eyecandy around here! Very nice Additions! I´m Dead jealous on the Diner! Where in the Gamefiles its to find, and how many prep-up did it need to bring it in a watertight form?
