Some news, I´m still painting some Dark Age Minis from time to time. Actually I´m infected with the Arthur-virus again (no EHEC) and building a chieftains hall with removable roof, post pics some pics of it when it´s finished. The Romano-British noble was painted this afternoon, Arthur´s flag some time ago.

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Can't believe that I missed four pages of this goodness first time around!
Lovely stuff as usual, Hazel :)
And as usual, I get the arthurian bug as well (must be EHEC then ;) )

I am also reading the Warlord Chronicals for the second time, and this thread is feeding into my urge to paint some more Dark ages stuff! Brilliant figures, lovely shields, and great weathering.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/

Oooooh, so the project isn't dead from your side, then? And what life it breathes! Amazing work once more, Jan! Thanks for sharing, especially for me that is important. Beautiful work.

I love these books and this thread has got me re-reading them again, just trying to avoid buying lots of figures that won't get painted........

I know a guitarr player who is writing some rules... ::) For Background, Army lists and fluff I really love the WAB Age of Arthur book. I also thought about adapting the "Triumph+Tragedy" rules. We´ll see.

Have you seen the forthcoming SAGA rules from Gripping Beast (out next month) sound ideal for your project. A mini review here:http://www.mikehobbs.co.uk/?p=2339

My rule-writing stalled months ago and hasn't re-started, although one could probably play a game with what I've got.

However, Gripping Beast's Saga is the way to go, me-thinks. A mate of mine played it at a show recently and really liked it!! I shall be ordering it as soon as possible and will attempt to post a review or two once I have played it a few times. I say 'attempt', because things keep getting in the way of my wargaming lately...

Back on topic. Great models, as always. They'll look inspiring when you put them all together on the tabletop!!
