Hello everyone, I am back! I finished my exams and took a week off and just laid in my bed like a lazy bum; now I am back to painting and commenting on all the fine new threads that have popped up in my absence.

Some new paint jobs, here we have two Ral Partha minis, one is a Skeleton General and the other a Skeletal Sabertooth tiger. The sabertooth tiger is pretty big as you can see. What I like about these minis are that even the bases are metal making for some heavy minis. These are for an undead army that I am have been building for more years than I can remember, I hope to finish it this summer; I'll post some pics of it soon.

Thanks for looking
Damien

Hhmmm, those are nice, espcially the Skeletal Sabertooth :-*

Is that one still available...?
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

VERY NICE additions to the Gallery! The bone-work on the Living Impaired Sabertooth is especially well done..the added area seem to have allowed you a greater degree of tones. GREAT STUFF!
I also am looking forward to The Horde from HELL...or wherever.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Thanks Thantsants, I am going to get that b*stard army done this summer if it kills  me (I don`t want to tell you how many years this has been a WIP, I should win an award).

Thanks for the comments Pil (lord of the undead)

Thanks Braxandur, it can be bought at Iron Wind metals :

http://ironwindmetals.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=5581

may be at Ral Partha Europe as well (didn`t check).

Hi DeafNala, thanks for the comments, I hope to take pics of the army soon (just a few more skeletons).

Thanks phreedh, your right about that sword, its pretty big but doesn`t look too out of place when looking at the mini on a table.

Thanks again to everyone that commented

Well it is good to be back! Grad school kicked my butt last semester and I could not find the time to paint. My New Years resolution will be to paint and post to my favorite forum.

As you can see I will continue my thread of cool old school minis, all the minis that I am posting are WIP.

In this post we have an old preslotta Paladin in platemail (anyone know the official name?), I still have to paint his base, cloak and the hilt of his sword.

And these are some of my absolute favorite miniatures, they are old (early 80s) Grenadier skeletons. I am building an undead/skeletal warband of these early 80s minis.

The warband consists of 9 skeletal warriors, a Necromancer, a bolt thrower and a rare skeletal dragon:

I won the skeletons on ebay and they used to look like this:

If anyone is interested the dragon came from this box:

I still need to finish the dragon, the bolt thrower and the Necromancer.

C&C welcome and thanks for looking (its good to be back!)

Bleedin' 'eck mate, it's been a while! =) Nice additions, will be nice to see a few close ups of that dragon once it's finished.

Very nice!

The older minis look great. I remember sortieing out into dank dungeons way back in the 80's with these figures. Lots of nostalgia!

The newer mini's from Reaper etc are huge compared to the older 25mm ones.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome, it is good to be back and good to be painting again.

phreedh: even though I have not come to this forum that much I was still checking out your blog. I really like all the warbands you have painted up; the elves, the spartans with the manticore but I am most jealous of your new mancave (I want a man cave!). Everyone should check out phreedh's blog, it really rocks.

madmike: I just checked out your thread, I think we have the same taste in miniatures, I really like you paint jobs.

Mason: Thanks man, your Mordheim ruins thread rocks, I read through the whole thing last night, it made my jaw drop.

m4jumbo: thanks jumbo, its good to be back, can't wait to finish this warband and move on to all the other minis in the queue (I have too many freakn' minis).

Thank you all for looking

I got to paint all those Living Impaired Guys for a friend several years ago; they really are fairly awful minis. You did a WONDERFUL  job raising them to a higher level. VERY WELL DONE!

WELCOME BACK! While you were gone I added all sorts of strange thingies to my Ubergoblin Thread...if you really have nothing better to do with your time, check it out.
