Indian Automaton
« on: January 05, 2011, 09:33:17 AM »
I saw this on Frothers today, by smart max and I think they are a larger scale 54mm or some such but thought that this would be ideal for the likes of messr Bullshot or Thunder pigeon

One day one of these might find its way into one of my games  ;)

I believe one of these will find its way into my Ottoman VSF army.

I have an old Kali-ma statue on the dashboard of my car.

Very creepy, very nice. If the model turns out to be the wrong scale that might be a problem with the skulls, but then one could paint them to be a form of metal or perhaps even crystal (might leave a bad taste tough)

I think I will end up buying it if its anywhere near decently priced.

Really? Historically defensible or mere whim defensible? As I'm embarrassingly ignorant of the Ottoman Empire, I;m not challenging, just curious; remember I'm the fellow who wants VSF dwarves in battle in the mountains of central Europe. ;->=

I have an old Kali-ma statue on the dashboard of my car.

Okay, horrifically scary as the statue is, THAT image will give me trouble as I drift off to sleep...

Mere whim defensible. I have not totally set it down but my VSF Ottoman Empire is to be a bit more expansive than the historic one. I also hope to include some Lovecraftian elements as well.

Oh My Frakkin' Krisha!

That is incredible.  Sounds like it's time to start a Thugee army.

Where on Frothers did you find it?  Is it for sale?

Remember, remember, the Dalek December
With Paris in ruins and London in ember
In times of the future when fears are abating
Don’t try to forget them, the Daleks are waiting
Quietly planning and scheming and hating…
