Barbarians of Lemuria RPG

Hi,
I,m considering buying Barbarians of Lemuria RPG rules for Hyborian skirmish games. Has anyone any experience/thoughts about them?.

I have them, but I haven't actually tried them out. The rules seem to allow for lightly armoured warriors, as opposed to D&D which encouraged plate armour and shield. I was impressed by the layout and overall "art direction" of the book. Much better than a lot of other companies produce, IMO.

Since I posted I have downloaded the lite PDF version of BoL and had a brief run through of the mechanics and I reckon they definately have potential and some interesting ideas.

My draft set of rules are much faster but maybe too fast.

I have it but haven't played it yet. General reviews around the rpg community seem very favourable.

I also have it, and haven't played it.  But I've read through the book, and it seems excellent - top-notch, really.  I'm excited to play it as soon as possible.
