I've been scrounging the toystores in the neighborhood and I did find lots of 1/32 livestock, but till this day nothing that scales up with 28mm  :(

So how did you make the Brahmin?

Cut off both heads and center them up? or does just adding an extra head on the side work?

All of them are looking partially to one side, so just attaching the heads to the side worked fine.

And a bit more stuff.

A water purifier and barrels.

And finally, my Yao Guai.  I used the Moor Hounds from Reaper.

And I am just a busy busy little boy this week.  I think I feel inspired.

This piece of terrain was spawned by a find in a Goodwill store - I knew I had to do something with it. It's an ancient Tonka motor home I bought for a buck.  It is a bit large, but who cares? It came out cool, and cool overrules scale every time for me.

Things like trucks/campervan you can get away with post apoc wise as you can make them look cobbled together and hence bigger.

Very nice  ;)

Nag nag nag...

Well, today's update is a little 'fort' made from the remains of an earth mover toy.

And hey!  Who is that in there?

Yes, I finally finished them off, so here are the Hasslefree marines done in Reilly's Ranger style.  I have a few others to add in, but they are not on my hot list right now.  I tried to do the little clover symbols, but I just could not get them to look good, so I painted them over.

Group shot

"Brick" - a minor conversion.

Oh, alright.  I knew somebody would ask for that - because when I was 3/4 finished painting it I found I had missed some major mould lines I usually smooth out.

And the latest little cottage.  Sometimes I feel like a slacker, especially when looking at things like Elysium's STALKER project, but I am still just more interested in making terrain background, and not have it steal the show from the game mechanics and the models themselves.  Detailed interiors look great but in my experience always lead to issues of spacing and movement inside.

And just fresh off the painting table tonight, a couple of flavor additions for the table.

The focal point of the townsfolk - the BBQ spit.

And I don't want to know what this guy had for dinner, that would leave that color...

Four nice new terrain pieces in three days.  This must be some strange new definition of the word "slacker" that I have not previously encountered.
