No, they are not Fallout proper, but I painted them to go with my terrain, because I think they belong in a post-apocalyptic world.  Acheson Designs' Sand worms...

Beautiful models.

Those do look great.
Nice color scheme.
Maybe not "Fallout proper" but they theme up very well.  :)

Are the barrels, tires and other junk in the background from the same company?

Some of them.  There are actually 3 companies worth there, plus a couple of scratchbuilt.  Acheson, Stonehouse, and Armorcast as well bits and bobs from who knows where.

Thanks,
I'm going to need to buy some barrels and other stuff soon.

Great thread as well.  :-* You have helped inspired me to start my own Post Apoc project.

I'm actually waiting for stuff from EM-4 now.

And a small addition to the terrain.  My own version of the Megaton bomb.

I am a little irritated with the water effects I used, as they cracked in places unexpectedly. Live and learn, I suppose.

Well, there are not a whole lot of them, but I have a few pictures from a battle today.  A couple of groups of raiders allied with mutants and ghoul mercs to attack a small town and their Ranger allies.

The herd of Brahmin ran in circles when they were accidentally stampeded by the Raiders.

Albino scorpions are mean.

The mini nuke is not a small template.

It is all about saving the kids - who were a random encounter.  They found them hiding in an ant nest.

The gentleman playing the raiders avoided the nuka-cola caps, which trigger random events, and managed to have the worst dice rolls of the game.  I think the gods of chance were telling him something.
Luckily for me, everyone still had fun.

I got to play the raiders, little good it did me.
My bad luck played out in spades.
As for the Nuka Cola caps,
I figured my luck was so bad that if one turned up,
I would be toast.
Great fun anyway.
Neal runs an outstanding game.
Thanks for running it.

I like it all, but the roads are pretty boss.

What a great looking board. It looks like you guys had a really good time.
As I said before, these threads have really inspired me to jump into this genre as well.

I wish I was there.  :'(

I'm pretty sure you answered this before, but what rules did you use?

I am currently using a modified version of the Weird Krieg ruleset that Malebolgia built.  I have shifted a few things, but that is the core.  I am going to testing a new set soon for post-apoc stuff, but it isn't truly Fallout, so we'll see how it works.

Thanks for the response Sinewgrab.

I remember Malebolgia talking about a Lovecraftian ruleset he had completed, but I don't remember Weird Krieg.

Either way, looks like a good time. You've built up quite a collection.

The mini nuke is bad ass!  >:D
