Sweet stuff. I love the bomb. The mini Nuke template is great.

I remember Malebolgia talking about a Lovecraftian ruleset he had completed, but I don't remember Weird Krieg.

You can find the Fallout version here :) (it's in the compiled Fallout thread)

@sinewgrab: wow, that AAR looks fantastic! The mini-nuke looks really scary, love the way you implemented it!

Threads like yours are the reason I joined that forum. I do like every little thing, from the cars right down to the bramins.
I suggest you start Rivet-City sometime soon.

I probably won't do Rivet City, but I may very well do a HoloCostco... the idea of a post-apocalyptic big box store being turned into a city amuses me greatly.

So, yeah, this topic has been quiet a while.  I noticed when I went to show someone else some wrecked vehicles that were not Marx cars that I had not actually posted any images of them, so, here we are.

And a boat -  a toy I stole from my godson.  He didn't mind - he thought the paintjob was neato.

I really love those pick up trucks! All your vehicles are very inspirational.

You wouldn't happen to remember the make/ model of them would you?

1955 Chevy Truck, 1/35th scale, but I have no idea of the manufacturer.  I bought them from a local grocery store for $4.99 each.

Thanks.  It is one of those never-ending projects that I keep going back to, as Fallout is one of my first loves in gaming.

Update!

I have been trying forever to find an appropriate figure for Geckos, and while the heads are not perfect, these work really well!

Monsterpocalypse Carnidons (sp?) with a simple wash over the factory paint job.  And between this and my latest Pulp project, I am finally back to painting.

And we had waayyy too much time on our hands over Thanksgiving...

So, Dust has a set of Quonset huts for a reasonable price, and I find that they paint up well.

And I finally started finishing up some rubble piles I had from over a year ago - possible two. BUT, I also found a cheap way to do cactus.

How you might ask?  Simple - steal the beads from your wife's collection ;) and then glue a dab of Autumn flock to the top for flowers, and BAM!
Barrel Cactus!

More to come tonight, but I have to go to work now.. (boo! hiss!)

Feck!? Six huts for £16? That's a steal, thanks for posting them.

^^ I use beads all the time on my own terrain, and yet somehow the idea of making cacti out of them never hit me. I think of pumpkins first before those. That's some nice scatter to go along with the rest of your stuff. Eugh, people get ever so messy with their stuff after the apocalypse. Clean up you louts!

Are those 28mm bases on those Geckos? They aren't perfect stand ins, yes, but fluff wise you could just name them something like "Stunted Gecks", not actually related to Geckos as a species, but called so by ignorant wastelanders (like Mirelurks and Kings).

Those Q-huts are a steal. I need to paint mine up.
