ALL ABOARD!!!! Muahahahaha!  Ai ai ai!

(Sorry, I'll get my hat.)

Anyway, I am blaming another gentleman on this board for this sudden burst of inspiration - he had a ghoul-led mule train, and I said to myself, "Self, there is no way a wasteland merchant would be caught dead leading mules when there are respectable Brahmin around. So, self, what are we going to do about that?"

Well, this.

Each one has a 'function' - I tried to keep groups of items together at least peripherally, to give them whole train a reason to hang together.

For example, this one is 'tools', with chainsaw, oar, rake, shovel...

Weapons...

Potables...

Tents and packs...

Armor...

Water - most valuable...

And I made one specifically to pull that cart I had built previously...

And a group shot with the couple of player characters from a Fallout RPG I was in for a time.

Not bad for a weekend's work!

Nice work :)  Are the Brahmin conversions, or can you buy two headed livestock?

Mine are conversions - I purchased these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ERTL-BLACK-ANGUS-COWS-CALFS-NEW-IN-PACK-1-64-SCALE-/221799221537?

And then made a mold of the head, so that I could cast a second head and attach it, using greenstuff to cover the joins.  The first time, I cut half of their heads off, but then I had all these wasted bodies...

:-* Cracking bunch of brahmin there! Question: could someone climb aboard the one covered in weapons and just start firing like crazy? In the event of an emergency, of course.

Not impossible, I am sure.  Brahmin may object, though.

As the mule-leadin' guilty party I have to say those are just fantastic. Brilliant job.

I didn't name names...   :D

But thanks.  It feels good to get back on the Fallout horse, er, Brahmin.

No, that is Bill, the Baddass Bull Brahmin who has reached sentient levels, he is the convoy leader and mercenary.   :D His partner Steve on the other hand, is happy to smell the irradiated roses  ;D

Seriously great conversions and cows. Works well as individual traders, whole convoys or a little flavour in a town.

Love the Pikachu bag aswell  :-*  :-*

Cheers

This is epic good.

I don't comment that much on this thread. But that is mostly because I would just repeat what everyone else is saying.

I have threads like that - where I make one comment so that the thread always shows up in 'new comments on yours posts', so I don't miss anything, but don't say much.

Heh, I wondered how long that would hang before someone noticed.  A moment's whimsy...

Wow man some seriously epic work! This is my first time seeing the milled vault and I must say it is a beauty. What kind of tool is used to cut it? I have a manual mill and a mini mill I might try this on one day.

A Vision 2550 router/engraver I have at my work.  I justified it as a learning project. :)
