Parachute Regt and 101 Airborne
« on: January 18, 2011, 10:19:43 PM »
Couple of new posts on my blog, well the first there now, the second a minute after midnight as I've been playing with the "schedule" function again.

28mm Horsa Assault Group... a Tetrach, tons of figures and a well priced option on a horsa.

28mm Airborne Support Team... .30 cal goes bang!

Have a recon over at http://6milphil.wordpress.com/

I'm always pleased to see airlanding units and a Horsa.  :)

PS: You had me fooled with the Horsa.... it wasn't til I read your blog that I realised the scale difference!
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2024 = 0
(2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Glad you're enjoying it chaps.

On the scale front we decided to try it having first tried it with a 1/72 biplane for VBCW... it verges on the cartoony but covers the gaming bases- it works, it looks right, it's cheap* and there's an enormous range of craft available in that scale which either don't exist in 1/48th or are prohibitively expensive.
