"Plasticville Barn"
« on: January 21, 2011, 09:08:36 PM »
Hi,

I have had this kit for lurking around for a couple of years and I thought I'd bettern do something with it. Having given it a quick black undercoat (the walls were bright orange plastic, originally) it all fell into place. A simple kit that provides a useful terrain/objective feature.

Hopefully, this weekend it will get a roof and a MDF base ....

Nice.  I'm surprised that some of the 'Fallout 3' officionadoes haven't picked up some of these.

Here in the states, Lionel just canceled its "k line" series of buildings. these are DIRT cheap kits, $12-$20 for decent sized 28mm scale buildings. ( check in the AC57 thread for my 'search for supply' game i ran, those buildings are touched up k line )

Quite a useful building, I've converted one of those for my Old West games.

They are very nice kits and you did a great job.  I did one for and Old west setting and added some horse stalls and a loft, worked very well.

I've got the standard barn + silo tucked away somewhere. I think I'll save these photos as reference  :D

Fine job on the barn.
I love Plasticville buildings, fairly cheap and
you can use them for many periods.
