Here’s a couple of pics of some of my model railroading stock to follow on from my “Repair Crew” post (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=25642.0). All the stock runs on my exhibition layout and is fully compatible with 28mm minis.

The 0-6-0 hacked about from a ready-to-run Bachmann 0N30 mogul

A  Bachmann ready-to-run coach with a heavy weathering paint job

A Bachmann ready-to-run boxcar with some custom lettering and wanted posters; although I don’t think posters on boxcars was that common, a photo exists of one in a Time Life “Old West” book.

A Bachmann flat car with scratch built timber sides; the car has been shortened by about 25mm.

A pair of Bachmann flat cars; one has had bolsters and stanchions added and the other has a scratch built strip plastic gondola body on it to represent a vee-bottomed side dump car. Both cars have been shortened by about 50mm.

Another pair of Bachmann flat cars; one has had bolsters and a few more stanchions added and the other has a half-length scratch built timber gondola body built on it to represent a sand and tie car; the crates are old Grendel casting. Both cars have been shortened by about 50mm.

The last pair are totally scratch built on HO scale MDC “Old Time Tank Car” chassis (sadly, no longer available); they represent prototype tool car and water tank car which ran on the Cal./Mich. Lumber Company railroad.

@ Sangennaru

This is about the only photo I have A T M to give an idea of scale -

The Apaches are Foundry and the Cowboys, Artizan

... but check out my earlier posting http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=25642.0 over on Old West

Hope this helps

I'll have to keep an eye out for the details of that Eastcombe show - it's only just up the road from me.
