Great tutorial, Richard. Being a bit of a sucker for all kinds of gimmicks which I think will imporve my painitng it was refreshing to read about your rather Spartan way of doing things.

I have just read your painting tutorial and really, really enjoyed it.  Thanks for the link.

I am aware that there are many 'how to paint' tutorials and books available and in fairness they are all good reads, but your simple painting tutorial (plus the plastic modelling/conversion article) was one of the very best I've read.

I particularly enjoyed the use of 'primary colours' and how you mixed the paints plus the images of the wet palette.

It is refreshing to see such a well written and no-nonsense approach.
