Zombie Wolves, Hellhounds or Big Dead Mutts.....?
« on: February 01, 2011, 09:08:21 PM »
I bought a couple of undead wolves from Gamezone miniatures to act as guard dogs for my Vampyre Lord.
They are HUGE and look like small ponies ( scale wise ) compared to my other stuff.
Still, I look at them as being Supernatural beings raised by Necromancy rather than part of my ongoing revenant plague. They might even be werewolves which have be raised from the dead.... which would explain their extreme size.

Anyhow, here's the cute puppies:

Hope You like Them

Bloody brilliant - in both senses. Excellent stuff. Painting is excellent, of course, but the bases, as always, catch my eye - really nicely done.

Hideous looking beasts! Great paint job on them, I wouldn't want my Victorian adventurers to have to face off against these creatures :)

Very nice!  I've got a couple of these fellas sitting on the desk awaiting the old brush for my Undead SBH war-band. I guess now that I'm branching out into Gothic Horror they'll do admirably for that, too!  As you write, though, even by heroic 28mm standards they are enormous creatures.

Thanks for the comments.

I only recently discovered Gamezone Miniatures and I am really impressed with detail of their minis. The range of mounted Vampires is particularly nice and may well temp me towards some Fantasy stuff....
I have been thinking of digging out my Mordheim stuff and doing some war bands with non-GW minis. Their are plenty of nice minis out their.

Fantastic job on those, Papa! And yes, Gamezone miniatures have many superb sculpts among their ranges, so much more creative than the recent GW crap.
