Early contact clothing mind lapse
« on: February 02, 2011, 02:45:51 AM »
Okay it seems most Apache figures have muskets, revolvers, carbines, etc.  which is fine for 1800's.

But if you play games around the Pueblo Revolt era (1680 to 1692 +/- 10 years) or earlier what would the Apaches and other South West Indians be wearing prior to obtaining Spanish style clothing?  Skirts/dresses for females?  Loincloths, capes for cold nights?  I can't find my books that deal with the era and I am drawing a blank on this subject.

I guess you would need open handed or melee weapon armed figures too instead of revolvers and winchesters.   ;)

Gracias,

Glenn
