And now that you made such a magic entrance to the Faerie Kingdom, it would be a great joy to see in your next projects YOUR version of the Faerie Ring!
Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. – Mark Twain, Life on the Mississippi

...it's another Great Minds moment:

I order a bunch of round bases with something like that in mind. The Entrance is on one of the 6 1/2" bases; I have 10" ones also.

I loved a fairy once...

Faerie Folk are strange & often sinister, not to be taken lightly. They aren't just Little Folk either; Elves & such are Faerie Folk as well.

I have been working on a new Pinterest inspired Mushroom with some small versions as well.
This is one of the inspirations. The Mushroom is done in polymer (air dry) clay. It is somewaht larger than my version:

This is an evolutionary set of photos: from plumber's epoxy putty to finished green stuff:

There is no end to the madness...at least, none I would like to think about.

Oh me oh my, that's looking good!

Thank you, Fram. I am glad you like him/her/whatever.

I have a feeling I have turned a corner in my world development. Everything seems to be falling into place.
This could, of course, mean I have finally gone totally nuts, but that is only a matter of degrees.

Has an innocent look, but only his creator knows what he is up to!

Thanks for the reply, Dinos. He/she does have a rather sweet expression.
I suppose the reason for the expression would determine whether it is truly sweet or sinister.

Thanks, Schrumpfkopf. I am happy you like them. They add a Alice in Wonderland/Fairy Tale from HELL! feel to my stuff.

AND YET MORE Pinterest inspired Mushrooms are underway.
The dolly stage:

Early stage green stuffing:

I also started work on the Goblin Guards. One or two may find a home on the Entryway base while the others find homes elsewhere. I have a couple of the Twisted Tower Crew acting as color guides:

I did mention getting carried away, right?

I LOVE that new fella, so full of wonderful expression!
 :-* :-*

The new additions to the herd are looking most interesting too, as are the Crew that are seeing their way to be coloured-in.
Great stuff, Amigo!

That new fellow is a great addition, Al, came out really nice  :)

By the way, where is the left mini in the goblin guards pic from?
The one with the clover leeves on his hat?
