Thank you for the kind reply & all your support, Dinos. It is good to know my Mushrooms will be with a friend.
I have been told my photos do not do the miniatures any favors. You will be able to judge for yourself when the piece(s) arrive.
I will send you a message once I have it in the mail.

I thank you! Received your photo album. Generally all photos don't do the miniatures favors, not only yours  ;) :D
And that was the reason I kindly asked you to try and take some more close ups from slightly different angles from the Faerie Gate.
Rarely -if never- the photo lens can catch all what the eye can see. Having added the Goblin Guard to the Faerie Gate means that you have added at least two or three levels of deepness for photography, something that a camera cannot catch in one single pic! (I don't know if I expressed well what I mean, I'm sure you are aware of this).

They are, of course, always more wonderful in person, but I think your photos are just fine!

Thanks, Fram. I do love taking the pics & quite often I am really happy with the results whether or not they accurately portray the miniature.

I will be getting to the additional photos of The Gate. The Goblins are clamoring for more pics as well.
From different angle little difference & details come into focus. Finding little things that had gone unnoticed make a piece special.

After all the Mushrooms, I am back working on the Rhino:

Coming along oh-so-slowly.

I'm watching the progress, but I prefer not to say a word until it takes a final form.
As they say in Physics, the presence of the observer has an impact on the experiment  ;)

I can relate. In baseball, if someone has a no hitter going, NO ONE mentions it. To do so will jinx the thing.
I haven't the vaguest idea how the final piece will look. He is FUN to do though.

lol Take your time and let your inner butterfly decide the final shape (and ornaments) of the rhino's armor!

I am at that stage where speeding things up slows them down.

I finished the last of the little mushrooms. SO before I base them up & send them off, I thought one last set of Group Photos might be in order:

I'm running a bit behind in this thread, but these colours are fantastic! I need this!  :-*  lol

Wow. These colors blow my mind. The mishrooms are brilliant. Both in the literal sense as well as a mark of the painting quality!

The rhino also looks amazing even without paint on it!

Thanks, W.K.. I am glad you like the stuff. The colors are a jolt to the sense at times.
If you actually need some Mushrooms, I have been sending them all over the place.

Thanks for the reply, DivisMal. I am delighted you enjoy my stuff.
The Rhino got some armor on one side of his back yesterday. The other side should get done sometime to day. The on to the butt...so to speak.

The back armor is now done less some embellishment:

Our Comsquare sent me a Durer Rhino made by Fenris. It is a very cool, but tiny piece. You can see the size in comparison to The Rhino:

I have some surrealistic ideas for this Little Guy.

I am sure I will add some little touches to The Rhino, but, for now, the green stuff work is done:

Soon to be painted.

What a flourish!

It's going to look incredible once painted.

Thanks, Fram. I have hopes for the Big Fellow. I also am looking at some other James Christensen Mega Critters, & suitable toys to convert.
